Over the past six months, I’ve let my cardio slip. I’ve had injuries, family bereavement, a busy workload and if I’m being completely honest, I’ve also use these things as a reason not to prioritise it. The funny thing is, I know how much better I feel when I do my cardio. My energy improves, my mindset is better and I simply feel more like myself. So today, I’ve made a promise to myself. I’m committing to getting back into a routine with two 20 minute cardio sessions each week. Nothing extreme, just something realistic that I can stick to. For me, that will be the stepper or the cross trainer during the week and a bike ride at the weekends. It’s a good reminder that we all have habits that can slip from time to time. The important thing isn’t that it happened, is deciding to start again. I’d love to know… What’s one habit?
