Hi friends, I have been struggling quite a bit lately. This is difficult for me to admit, but I don't really have any friends that check in with any consistency since my mom got sick last December 2024. She is doing long-term chemotherapy treatment with a rare and aggressive type of cancer, and I am realizing I need more support. I was wondering if anyone in this group loves texting, is comfortable initiating, and wants to chat with me. I reply quickly, but am a bit burnt out on initiating since my current friends haven't had the capacity to actually know how I am. I carry a lot on my shoulders, and maybe the people in my life were only friends when I could support them, but not when I needed it in return. I am looking for connections that have the ability to talk about spiritual magical things, and the hardship of real life. ❤️
