A beautiful hello
I was talking to my kids about family who served in the military (it was military appreciation/military child week at school). We talked about their grandpa (my father-in-law) who was in the Navy and their great-grandpa (my grandpa) who was in the Army's 82nd Airborne during the Korean War.
After getting the kids on the bus, I went for my morning walk. I found this beautifully perfect feather on the way. I believe it was both grandfathers saying hello and thanking me for talking about their service.
