Day 7
Day 7 This Rainbow Path Healers Challenge is available.
Day 5 - Grounding is a Sacred Action
Grounding is a sacred action. We learn this as a skill otherwise we remain detached and distracted when we are better served fully grounded in our bodies. Learn that grounding is the practice of returning your awareness โ€” and your energy โ€” to your body and to the present moment. That's it. That's what it is. This lesson is so important because in my experience, the slightest thing can distract us, and before you know it - your mind is way off somewhere else - and then we're wondering what in the world happened?? So this is where we bring the skill, the tool of grounding as a regular sacred action so we can return faster and stronger to our own energy. For healers, whether you're just beginning or a long time practitioner - approach grounding as a discipline you maintain before, during, and after any healing work. Today's practice will give you a real, functional tool โ€” something you can use in thirty seconds whenever you feel yourself drifting. The healing audio for Day 5 - Grounding and Protection is very good to help you along.
Day 6 - The Path is Service
For many of us when we first begin to recognize our gifts, there's a honeymoon phase. The excitement of finally having language for what you have felt for so long. There's relief of finding a community that understands. There's curiosity about what this might become. That time is beautiful. And as many of you may have already figured out - it is temporary The reason is simple -- this path will ask more of you than any job or relationship you have ever had. It will ask you to examine your own wounds before you touch anyone else's. This path - It will ask you to be honest โ€” brutally honest โ€” about your motivations. Are you here to help? Or are you here to be needed? Those are not the same thing. It will ask you to maintain discipline It will ask you to practice boundaries It will ask you to stay grounded In the curandero tradition I am trained in, there is an understanding that runs beneath everything: the healer is a vessel. Not the source. A vessel must be clean. A vessel must be cared for. A vessel must know its own limits. Your job is to keep the channel clear. Your job is to keep the vessel clean, keep the vessel well tended and cared for. You must love the vessel The work for Day 6 is an opportunity for you to stand inside these questions - What is this discipline for me? What boudnaries do I really need? How do I stay grounded in the most trying of situations? As you go through Day 6 and use the Sacred Affirmation and Sacred Practice - know that you are choosing something for you. It requires courage. You can do this.

Day 4 - focus on Commitment Statement
SUPPLEMENTAL POST ยท DAY 4 The Commitment Statement Why Writing It Changes Everything for Empaths I'm sharing this here because I went through so many blocks before getting to the point of understanding the power of writing it down with details and precision. It makes all the difference! Remember -- An affirmation is something you say. A commitment is something you decide. There is a gap between those two things that most people who carry a healing gift never cross. And that gap is where so much potential quietly disappears. When you write a commitment statement with your name on it, signed and dated, naming the specific practice you will do โ€” not someday, but this month โ€” you are creating a record of a decision. The nervous system registers that differently than a repeated phrase. Something in you knows the difference between a wish and a promise made to yourself in writing. Structure is what most sensitives resist. Somewhere along the way, they absorbed the idea that structure closes the gift down. I used to think this because I thought walking this path was meant to be solitary! I was in fear mostly of being seen. I learned that structure is what lets the gift move without you collapsing in the process. The journal question that follows the statement matters just as much. Where in my life have I felt the cost of untrained sensitivity? Sit with it honestly. Not as self-criticism. As clarity. What you find there becomes the real reason you keep the commitment. Not motivation borrowed from the outside. Understanding that comes from within. The kind that holds when things get difficult as they will. What I know after years of this work is that every sensitive person who made the shift from surviving their gift to working with it has one thing in common. There was a moment. It looked quiet from the outside. And with just a pen. A page. A name. But that moment was a door. And on the other side of it, things that felt impossible before โ€” steadiness, discernment, the ability to help without losing yourself โ€” began to become real.
