Calling in Ancestors

I want to share something from my curandero retreat that has stuck with me since the event.

During the session I was teaching, we were calling in helping spirits and ancestor spirits for guidance as we work in the East direction between now and the summer solstice.

Watching the group with such deep intention, I had to remind myself of the privilege and honor it is to be able to offer this training to people. And I felt so deeply that I was offering not just training but a deeper connection with spirit for me and for them.

The connection with people and with their process, with their personal journeys is something I honor and respect. Seeing their reactions after connecting with helping spirits and ancestral spirits is a joy and reminds me of how much we have to learn from each other.
