Be honest.
Are you playing the game of life
—or are you being played by it?
Because there is a difference.
Most people are not living.
They are reacting.
Reacting to bills.
Reacting to moods.
Reacting to trauma.
Reacting to other people’s expectations.
Reacting to whatever shows up loudest that day.
That is not strategy.
That is survival cosplay.
When you play the game of life, you are not emotional about outcomes.
You are intentional about decisions.
You wake up knowing:
what you are building
what you are willing to sacrifice
what distractions you refuse
what version of you must die to win
You don’t “see how things go.”
You decide where things go.
If your life feels chaotic, it’s not because life is hard.
It’s because you never chose a direction, so everything gets a vote.
And let me be savage with you for a second:
If you don’t have clear goals, life will use you as filler.
If you don’t have standards, chaos will move in.
If you don’t choose a future, the past will keep choosing for you.
So I’ll ask again—slowly:
Are you responding to life
or commanding it?
Because only one of those women wins.
