This is our long weekend here in Canada, and Iām heading to the lake with some friends.
No pressure to be productive. I have no feeling like I should be catching up on work. Just fresh air, good company, and a chance to slow down a little.
I used to think rest had to be earned. That I needed to finish everything on my to-do list, do enough, and stay on top of everything before I was allowed to relax.
But thatās one of the patterns Iāve had to become more aware of myself⦠and now help other women notice too.
Because thereās something worth remembering as you head into the weekend:
You donāt have to earn rest.
You donāt have to fix yourself before youāre allowed to feel good.
The body you have right now deserves care ā not as a reward, but as a baseline.
š¬ Whatās one small thing you could do this weekend thatās purely for you ā no productivity, no purpose⦠just because it feels good? š
