I had this moment recently… where I could feel that urge to push. To get it together. To do a little more. To try and “fix” the feeling. And I caught myself. Because I’ve been noticing something—in myself, and in the women I talk to all the time… The harder we push, the more stuck things seem to be. Not because we’re doing it wrong. But because pushing was never what the body was asking for. When I slow it down… even just a little… it’s not a change I’m craving in that moment. It’s something softer that I need for myself. Space. Relief. A sense that I’m actually on my own side. 💛 Gentle check-in: What’s one thing your body has been trying to tell you lately…that you might be ready to hear?

Sometimes we move so quickly into what needs to change…that we skip over what’s actually asking to be heard. This week, you don’t have to rush that part. Feel-Good Friday 💛
I woke up with a headache this morning… and noticed the old pattern immediately: “Really? Heading into the weekend?” Meanwhile, the sun is shining… and apparently rain is coming later. 🙃 So maybe it’s a little barometric moment… Or maybe my body just wants something different today. Either way… this felt like a good moment to practice what I talk about. Not push through. Not override. Not try to “fix” the day. Just listen. Because this is where the pattern starts to shift. Because a slower Friday… is still a valid Friday. A headache isn’t a failure to have a good day. It’s your body speaking up— asking for water or quiet or a softer pace or just… a little less Feel-Good Friday doesn’t always mean high energy. Sometimes it just means permission. 💛Something to take into the weekend You don’t have to earn rest. You don’t have to fix yourself to deserve care. The version of you that’s here right now— a little tired, maybe not feeling 100%— is still worth tending to. Sometimes we think self-trust is something we either have… or don’t. But more often, it’s something that shifts. It grows. It fades. It comes back in small, quiet moments. Mindful Monday - You don’t need to be further along
Lately I’ve been thinking about how quick we are to believe we should be “further along” by now. More in control… More consistent… More confident… And when we’re not… we’re so quick to judge ourselves. But what if nothing has gone wrong? What if you’re just… learning? Learning how to slow down… Learning how to notice what’s actually going on underneath the surface… Because most of the time, it’s not about willpower. It’s about something inside you asking to be seen. And maybe today… We just notice what comes up...and let that be enough 💛
