Honey = ๐Ÿ‘‘
When it comes to wrestling or combat sports in general I always recommend having honey before and during a workout. During high intensity excercise our body goes directly to our muscle glycogen stores which are essentially water and carbs together. Trying to keep these as full as possible is a top priority.
I recommend having 1 tablespoon of honey before practice and 1 tablespoon of honey in the middle of practice during a water break!
