Losing weight before the season
What’s the best way to start losing and maintaining weight before the season starts?

That questions is a very long explanation and individual process that I go over in my masterclass! But to sum it up briefly you have to get in a calorie deficit while still eating 1g of protein /lb of bodyweight to maintain muscle and continuing to lift!

@Andrew Sheehy track your daily eating for 7 days and then average them out and use this as your base.
Honey = šŸ‘‘
When it comes to wrestling or combat sports in general I always recommend having honey before and during a workout. During high intensity excercise our body goes directly to our muscle glycogen stores which are essentially water and carbs together. Trying to keep these as full as possible is a top priority. I recommend having 1 tablespoon of honey before practice and 1 tablespoon of honey in the middle of practice during a water break!

Useful Supplements
Supplements are something that gets way overblown in our modern world. Everybody is always trying to sell you something. By far the most important part of your physical health and performance is your diet and sleep with supplements being a little icing on the cake. That said here are some supplements I take that can be useful: Collagen - Supports joints and stimulates hair and skin growth. Beet Root Powder - Opens up blood vessels to increase cardio vascular performance. Omega 3 Fish Oil - An essential fatty acid that supports brain function. Multi Vitamin - Covers up any holes you may have in your diet micro-nutrient wise.

Fasted Cardio
I don’t love fasted cardio. If I were going to recommend it, I would advise walking. Anything more intense than walking flat out isn’t worth it to not eat before hand. If you don’t have a workout in the morning and are really looking to bring your weight down it can be a good option. That said if you eat first thing in the morning and then go walk it is going to be equally beneficial.
