I just got off a coaching session with and it was a ton of fun. Today was Day 1 of his FREE 1:1 coaching.
Louis is a speaker on "Everyday acts of courage" and is such a cool guy.
Like always, we start by honing in on his niche and messaging.
We all know that niching down and specializing is key. When you work with a coach, sometimes having that sounding board is what gets the creative juices flowing.
I love this process.
Louis has done a lot of work with military and he said that the unsung heroes are the families of those servicemen and servicewomen.
That was the kicker for me: how amazing would it be to have a speaker help highlight and encourage the partners who stay home.
In his words: "they're keeping the home front going. It's tough for them. Service members don't get paid a lot"
Who would hire a speaker like Louis? There are endless opportunities:
- Military Family Support Organizations (National Military Family Association (NMFA), Blue Star Families)
- Veterans Affairs (VA) Departments
- Military Installations and Bases (spouse appreciation days or resilience training workshops)
- Non-Profit Organizations Supporting Service Members (Operation Homefront, Fisher House Foundation)
- Schools Near Military Bases
- Corporate Veteran Resource Groups (VRGs) (Amazon Warriors, Home Depot Military)
- National Guard and Reserve Family Programs
- Faith-Based Organizations
- Mental Health and Counseling Organizations (Give an Hour, Military OneSource)
- Military Spouse Employment or Empowerment Programs (Hiring Our Heroes Military Spouse Program, InDependent)
It took me about 30 seconds to create that list.
