Podcasts Galore!
As it stands, I have been on 2 podcast, doing another tonight, have 2 pre-interviews this week, a panel podcast interview on the 20th, and another podcast in March. I found a facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/13344770373 It connects people who want to start podcast, people who want to be guests, people looking for guests, and people looking for co-hosts, and of course people selling their services to the folks needing help. So far, I haven't paid a penny to be on these podcasts and I've made some great connections and even a few followers. If that is something you're looking for - I recommend the experience!
For Better or Worse or just more Better :)
This week has been absolutely crazy...and it's only the end of Wednesday. Monday: an article I wrote was published in an online UK magazine. I was informed I'd been made a finalist for a Women Changing The World Awards - Disability Leaderish category Tuesday: I was accepted into a co-authoring a book program - I will have access to training, business training, a speaking tour, a summit, and a bunch of other stuff. Wednesday: Started classes Interview and was accepted to be on another podcast We into another zoom and have been asked to join an app as a coach to teach families of alcoholics how to live more Joyfully Resilient life...how to rebuild, especially if they leave their spouses. Each day I'm doing my best to network, work on my business, I'm not making profit....yet...but I see it happening THIS year. The @Cam Beaudoin, I'll be able to hire you and your team to create my sizzle real ;) I don't know where all of this is going, but I'm going to have to make choices...like dropping a choir, like not starting a podcast amidst all of this current chaos of new beginnings....but I think my time in the Chrysalis Phase is coming to an end <3 Keep fighting each day for your dreams folks....We've got this!

Networking works! Yesterday I was featured on Raja Vaidya's podcast, it was fascinating to find someone so different from myself who resonates on such similar wavelengths! I will post a link to it when it comes out on YouTube :)

Success!!!!
I'm a little late posting because on top of backlash from using up so much energy, I also have covid, so haven't been doing much more than sleeping and resting. Even though we only had a small crowd, I'm incredibly pleased with how well this event went, how my performers performed, how many sales my artists and authors made. I can say that we successfully changed the disability landscape in my Region. The question is can I keep this going? The answer is yes, I think I can. I have support from a Regional councillor, a City of Cambridge councillor and I'm on the Cambridge Accessibility Advisory Council and we have already made a proposal to create 1-2 events, and I have received an email from the Mayor of Waterloo also expressing support for holding an event in her city. What I do know is that I need venues, funding, and that I can't do this alone! I need to find a team to help support this dream to make it grow. I don't know what the future will bring, but I'm already going to start searching for more crafters, performers, magicians, musicians, poets, authors and artist, and more. If you know of anyone in the Waterloo Region, PLEASE have them reach out to me. I can't promise work, but I'm going to TRY!
