What my heart actually wanted
I finally stopped pretending to want what I thought I should want. Over the past couple months, I asked myself: Do I want to coach? Lead art classes and circles? Or just... exist without agenda? (That last one was hella tempting, not gonna lie.) Just me and my sketch book… Here's the honest part: My brain kept reaching for the "smart thing." The one with the most value. The one that all those successful people are talking about on Skool. But then I'd sit with it, Journal and my heart would just... pull me back. The art studio. We started this 4 years ago, and it turns out that's where I'm most alive. Where the effort actually means something not because it's impressive, but because it light me up. It resonates, so I'm going with that. Building a messy studio, one step at a time. Once I started, all the ideas started flowing and I got more zest for life. Maybe you know that feeling that thing you keep coming back to, even when nothing about it makes logical sense?

🆕 Announcement 🆕
Hi my creative sparks! You may have noticed that the name of the community changed to CREATIVE SPARK STUDIO My apologies that it changed so suddenly, but I was sent an email for the cease and desist from using "Soul Art" as it is a registered trademark. To avoid copyright infringement, the names have been changed. There will be changes inside the classroom as well and on socials but the links and missions will stay the same. Thank you for your understanding. As for the About page, we can now pitch different ideas on what the front-facing art, images and even our log can be. Thank you for your support, I am not going anywhere. I am taking this as a sign to 'rebrand' and level up.

Day 10/10
My reflections from doing 10 minutes a day for 10 days (not consecutively) took me 18 days. In this time, I learned to just follow the nudges. Some days it was playing music Some days it was singing Some days it was writing in my journal Some days it was drawing Some days it was painting stones Some days it was stacking stones Some days it was face painting Some days it was motivational Some days was hard Some days I didn’t wanna create So I gave myself grace. So here we are. Still creating. And my biggest lesson was to keep answering the creative calling, no matter what that looks like Thank you for being a part of this journey. I think we will do it again next month! How do you feel creating just a little bit even 10 mins day?

Day 10/10
In the mornings….
As you know I haven’t been hosting sip and spark in the mornings, I wanted to share a bit about why. To find a more peaceful path since returning from my trip to Costa Rica with my family I have kept the no phones in the morning. So no screens… I have been spending more time walking outside (until the snow storm that happened yesterday) Where yesterday I took a photo shoot in the snow! … but the part I want to share is I started a painting with my daughter. One that just calms me. We listen together and we colour. What calms you everyday? I’m also collaborating with someone to bring to the community. Stay tuned.
In the mornings….
