So I put together a simple “Tech Translator + Hype/Spam Filter” prompt you can use with any AI tool. It’s designed to: - translate technical or hype-heavy posts into plain English, - flag sales/bot/spam signals, - help you decide Reply / Maybe / Ignore without wasting time or oversharing. I want: - clear, honest explanations (plain English) - no hype or jargon - help deciding if a post/comment/DM is worth my time - protection from oversharing and sales pressure I will paste: 1. Hi everyone! I’m Lori, from beautiful Victoria, BC Canada 🇨🇦 I’m a social impact strategist, entrepreneur and life & business coach who loves learning and all things tech. My relationship with AI right now is best described as curious and committed. I’ve been dabbling with ChatGPT and other AI apps, and have taken part in a few workshops and other training to learn best practices and about some of the things to be aware of (as a board member, employer, consultant etc.) I’m also having a lot of “wait… it can do THAT too?!” moments. 🤣 I’m interested in learning how AI can help me to maximize my impact, productivity, and income. One area I’d love AI to help me with is creating and streaming engaging content for things like workshops, my website and social posts — while still keeping everything aligned with my voice (warm, authentic, and approachable). I think sometimes I think I am in the md when I am in Canvas and vice-a-versa. Is there an easy way to tell when you are in each one? Maybe I am using them incorrectly - when to use each? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
