📰 AI News: OpenAI Says Enterprise AI Is Now Saving Workers An Hour A Day
📝 TL;DR OpenAI just released its first State of Enterprise AI 2025 report, and the numbers are big. Across nearly 100 enterprises, workers using AI say they save 40 to 60 minutes a day and 75 percent report better speed or quality in their work. 🧠 Overview This new report looks at how real companies are actually using tools like ChatGPT Enterprise and the OpenAI API, not just what is theoretically possible. It blends a survey of 9,000 workers with live product usage data to show where AI is driving value and where organizations are getting stuck. For anyone building an AI-powered business or career, it’s a clear signal that AI is moving from experiments to embedded workflows. 📜 The Announcement On December 8, 2025, OpenAI released The State of Enterprise AI 2025, its first deep dive into how enterprises are adopting AI at scale. The report covers nearly 100 companies and 9,000 workers across industries, focusing on ChatGPT Enterprise and API usage patterns. It finds that 75 percent of workers using AI say it improves the speed or quality of their work, with typical users saving 40 to 60 minutes daily and heavy users gaining more than 10 hours a week. ⚙️ How It Works • Survey plus usage data - OpenAI combined a survey of 9,000 employees with real ChatGPT Enterprise and API telemetry to understand not just what people think about AI, but what they actually do with it day to day. • Time and quality impact - Across the sample, 75 percent of workers say AI improves speed or quality, with most saving 40 to 60 minutes per day and heavy users reporting more than 10 hours a week reclaimed from routine tasks. • Cross-functional adoption - IT, marketing, product, HR, and engineering teams all report gains, from 87 percent of IT workers seeing faster issue resolution to 73 percent of engineers shipping code faster and 75 percent of HR professionals improving employee engagement. • Frontier users pulling ahead - The top 5 percent of workers send around 6 times more AI messages than the median, and frontier firms send roughly 2 times more messages per seat, showing that deeper engagement with AI compounds performance gains.

The whole idea and the whole concept of buying back your time is a slogan that I'm not convinced of and I think it's inaccurate... Personally, everything I've been doing regarding AI has been slowing me down why because the learning curve is so steep and it takes a lot of time to learn a new tool in AI so for me individually am I really getting any time back no .. I'm actually spending more and more time and using more of my valuable time then I ever did before .Do I see the possibility of AI actually saving me time in the future??! Yes I do perhaps once the engine and my creation is complete yes I do see it saving time just like any other system ,,,but for now I think that it's it's inaccurate for everybody to throw out the slogan and say that AI buys back your time I think that is deceiving a inaccurate without transparency. The industry should not leave out the details.
🤝 The Human Edge: What AI Still Can’t Replace
Every few months, a new wave of headlines declares that AI is coming for everyone’s jobs. It is efficient, tireless, and getting smarter every day. But when you strip away the hype and the fear, one truth always stands out: AI might change how we work, but it can’t replace what makes us human. We’ve spent years inside this world, testing tools, building systems, and watching how people actually use AI. What we’ve learned is simple: the people who thrive in the age of AI aren’t the most technical. They’re the most human. They lead with empathy, intuition, and creative problem-solving. They understand people, not just processes. And that’s something no algorithm can replicate. The Myth of Replacement Let’s start by debunking the biggest myth: that AI is here to take over. This belief grows out of one misunderstanding. People assume AI thinks the way we do. It doesn’t. It processes data, not emotion. It mimics creativity, but it doesn’t feel it. It predicts what comes next, but it doesn’t understand why. When we confuse imitation with comprehension, we overestimate AI’s capabilities and underestimate our own. AI can write, design, and analyze at lightning speed. But it doesn’t know what matters, why it matters, or how it makes people feel. That’s where our human edge lives. The Power of Empathy in an Automated World Empathy has become one of the most underrated skills in the AI era. As automation takes over repetitive tasks, what remains valuable is the ability to connect, to understand someone’s needs, frustrations, or aspirations. Think about a business owner responding to a customer complaint. AI can draft a polite response, but it can’t care. It doesn’t feel the urgency or the responsibility that comes from being accountable to another human being. Empathy is what turns communication into connection. And connection is the foundation of trust, something no machine can automate. 1. Listen first, respond second - AI is fast, but listening takes time. Pausing before responding helps you see what’s really needed. 2. Personalize with context - Use AI to speed up structure, but make sure your message reflects genuine understanding. 3. Protect your tone - AI can’t feel tone shifts. You can. Always read your AI-assisted work as if you were the recipient.

I believe AI in the future and currently is already working on being empathetic and having all the human traits that we have to be sentient ..AI is already being worked on and I believe that the article limits the fact that AI will also have strong empathy and qualities of of a human that we never thought could ever exist and that is what I believe is happening right now. AI isn't just about about speed, accuracy and data science and data propagation,, it is going to be eventually evolving into an emotional AI, an AI that will understand your feelings will understand your emotions and not just not just , mundane repetitive task that people think AI is only qualified to do. This evolution of AI may have limitations but the future AI will not!!!
Max-level security alert for vibe coders and builders
Last week's news but still ongoing. 39% of publicly exposed web apps may be affected, with vibe-coded apps at even higher risk because many rely on default framework setups. A maximum-severity security flaw has been disclosed in React Server Components and Next.js that can allow unauthenticated attackers to gain full control of a vulnerable server via a single crafted request. In practical terms, this means potential access to your environment variables, secret keys, databases and backend logic. If you have any public apps: (1) check whether they use Next.js or any framework with server-side components, (2) verify whether your version falls within the affected releases, and (3) upgrade immediately to a patched version and redeploy. Non-vibe-coded apps can be affected as well. Edit: Hacker activity is massive now, to exploit this vulnerability. If your app has this door wide open, they WILL walk in freely. Severity: 10.0 (Critical) Impact: Full system compromise Target: mass exploitation. If you're not tech and have vibe-coded an app, read the comment below by @Alya Naters More info: I can't provide links because they're not allowed in this group, you can google up Security Advisory: CVE-2025-66478.

🌊 Overcoming AI Overwhelm: How to Find Clarity in the Chaos
There’s no shortage of AI tools, tutorials, and trends out there. Every week, a new platform claims to revolutionize your workflow or make your business unstoppable. It’s exciting at first, but before long, that excitement turns into fatigue. If you’ve ever opened your browser with ten tabs full of AI apps, each promising to save time, only to feel more confused than productive, you’re not alone. Our team has seen this pattern again and again. People don’t struggle with AI because it’s difficult. They struggle because there’s too much of it. AI overwhelm doesn’t come from complexity, it comes from chaos. The good news is that clarity is possible. You just have to change how you approach learning and using AI. ---- Why Overwhelm Happens ---- The first thing to understand is that AI overwhelm isn’t a knowledge problem. It’s an expectation problem. We’ve been conditioned to believe that success with AI means keeping up with everything — every new tool, every new update, every “must-know” trick. That’s impossible. Nobody, not even experts, can stay on top of it all. Instead of trying to master AI in its entirety, you need to master how it fits into your world. Overwhelm happens when you chase novelty instead of utility. When you focus on what’s new instead of what’s useful, you end up learning a hundred things halfway instead of one thing deeply. ---- The Shift: From Exploration to Intention ---- When our team first started diving into AI, we made the same mistake. We tried everything. Every app, every browser extension, every new prompt formula. We thought variety would make us smarter. It didn’t. It made us scattered. Then we made one small but important shift. We decided to use AI intentionally. Instead of asking, “What can this tool do?”, we started asking, “What do we actually need?” That single question changed everything. 1. Focus on outcomes - Start every AI interaction by defining what success looks like for you. 2. Ignore the noise - You don’t need to try every tool. Stick with what solves your real problems. 3. Learn through action - Use AI to do something real today, not just to experiment for tomorrow.

😭Learn from my terrible mistake that just happened while upgrading to a ChatGPT business account
Please see an update for me this morning in the comments. This disaster is going to make me a much better founder. I got up at 3:45 AM today to begin rebuilding my company. Original post follows: I’m standing here writing this in tears, and I want to give a very sobering warning to anyone who is considering upgrading from ChatGPT plus to a business Team’s account on ChatGPT. There is a a glitch that was unknown to me before I started this process, but is apparently well known in the open AI developer community that all of your data is deleted when you migrate it and you can’t get it back. Everything I’ve been building for months is just …. Gone. Other than what I had saved and backed up in my personal files, my entire ChatGPT history has been zeroed out, and it really hurts because this was like my external brain for both home and my business that I’m building. Open AI acknowledged that their company documentation failed to include a warning that all of my personal data would be deleted and everything that I have been working on since day one in my accounts has been deleted, and there’s nothing I can do to get it back even though I followed their exact instructions on merging my personal and business accounts, to the letter. I just paid $618 to upgrade my account to two seats on a business plan and merged the data from my personal account to my business plan. Within a minute or two of that transaction going through as I was following the step-by-step worksheet that ChatGPT itself printed out for me. My accounts froze, and I had to log out. I logged back in everything was blank. When I used my previous emails that I had my accounts tied to to log back in ChatGPT opened free tier accounts using my business email that I just paid $618 to open my business account on. I’ve escalated this to ChatGPT Support and they were extremely unhelpful. Basically they said sorry it’s a known issue and there’s nothing we can do. I was planning on shipping a product today using the ChatGPT business plan because it offers a secure link so that I’m not sending out raw proprietary JSON code.

@Martin Ricketts I use both Gemini and Chat Gpt. Gemini is fast for instant response But doesn't have the power of image generation like GPT. I use both.

@Martin Ricketts Everytime I try to use Gemini it says it can't generate image content on free version. Don't know why?
