Just jump into building clones. Plan first with GPT
Hey guys, don't just jump into building clones. First stop: plan what your clone is going to do and how it's going to speak to you. Actually prototype it before you jump straight into building it. As I've noticed, some of you guys have already started building clones and I don't think some of you actually know what you want it to do just yet.
I wish it was something that they spoke about in the summit, as there was a lot of excitement around building clones and what it can do for you but I don't think there was a lot of talk about how you were going to do it. Some people might not have the money for the boot camp and have jumped straight into building clones through GPT or Claude without actually effectively planning it
Wait before you dive head first, nose deep into agents, clones, and automation. I suggest you prototype it in GPT first before you start diving head first into all the automation and coding because again all of this requires money and credits and tokens.
What I suggest all of you do first is create a brand new GPT account. Use the memory in that GPT account and train that new account to act like a personal assistant for you
Because right now what I think some of you guys have done is you've dived head-deep, nose-first, into Claude automations and whatnot before you even know how you want it to behave for you and how you want it to talk with you
What I'm recommending you guys do is:
1. You go into GPT, make completely a brand new account with memory, and train that account to act like a personal assistant for you only through prompts and training.
2. This way you're not spending money on Co-Work Code and Claude Pro without knowing what you want.
3. When you now get that account to the standard you want it at, then you can now go into GPT and ask it to give everything it knows about you.
4. You can now start taking every piece of information that you've given to it and put it into a master document.
5. Because you've now trained that account to understand you, it will now be very easy to transfer it over to Claude when you want to create the agent and clone for yourself because you already got all the information about how you wanted to respond, about your business, about what you like or dislike, about its style, tone, speaking, and everything with it already in GPT.
You just need to transfer it over. Right now immediately after the summit I don't think it is a good idea to just start creating it immediately in Claude without knowing if and how you want this agent to respond. Don't forget, because you don't know how you want it to respond, it'll be a lot of trial and error and that trial and error is money. In the way I'm telling you it doesn't cost money because you're already using the limit you've got with GPT and you can always edit and change it
