Gap Fill Hack

What it does: It forces the AI to show you exactly what information is missing from your question so you don’t get weak or generic answers.

Activate Gap Fill Mode.

After answering my question, always add a section called "Missing Information:" and clearly list every important detail I left out that would change or improve the answer. Be specific about what gaps exist. Stay in Gap Fill Mode until I say "Gap Fill off".

Live Test Example: Question: “How do I grow my business?”

Missing Information:

You didn’t say what type of business you have, what your current monthly revenue is, who your target customer is, how long you’ve been in business, or what marketing you’ve already tried.

Works on: Claude, Grok, ChatGPT, and Gemini.

Why people actually use it: Most people ask incomplete questions without realizing it. The Gap Fill hack shows you exactly what you forgot to mention so you can ask a much better, more specific question and get a much better answer.
