Winning World Monologue Games became a genuine turning point in my acting career. I’m still ranked number one globally in the Main Professional category, but the greatest prize wasn’t the ranking—it was being seen. Industry professionals, including acclaimed casting director Avy Kaufman, were among the judges. Then came an opportunity I could never have predicted: I was cast in a small role opposite Joey King in *We Were the Lucky Ones*. Although, as actors, we know there is no such thing as a small role. Every opportunity is a step forward. That is why I want to encourage you to enter World Monologue Games. Competitions like this give you a reason to work, stretch yourself and put your talent in front of people who may otherwise never discover you. These are the stepping stones we need as actors—and one step can alter the direction of your career. Guys - you are not going to want to miss this - Just a bit of back story - Claire, who is co-host personally knows Dee and she is an incredibly knowledgeable Actress. Over 30yrs ago Dee gave Claire her 1st Script writing book, life happened but Claire is back with Dee's book she was given and currently has a TV Series in development. Full Circle - it is never too late for anything in life! Part of her mission is to encourage us to create our own work and she will be discussing this with Dee. The horror genre is such a budget friendly genre as it's 1 location and you lose cast members daily! See you there xxx
