Even when it’s a “standard” hire, it’s a real win. Every good tech you add changes the week: less scrambling, fewer bottlenecks, and more consistency for the team (and for the customers).
Quick reminder for anyone else trying to get a hire across the finish line: most shops don’t lose candidates because of pay, they lose them in the gaps. Slow follow-up, unclear next steps, “we’ll get back to you next week”… and the tech takes the other offer.
