Hear me out. 🙈
We are way too sensitive right now.
Too defensive.
Too quick to protect our feelings—even if it costs us the truth.
But here’s the danger:
That mindset kills growth.
It stalls businesses.
It keeps experts playing small.
—> 5.5 million new business applications were filed in 2023 (U.S. Census).
—> Resilience scores in the U.S. dropped 15% since 2020 (American Psychological Association).
—> 2 out of 3 small business owners say they feel burned out or unsupported (Xero Report).
So what are we doing?
More people want to be builders.
But fewer want to be coached.
And feedback? It feels like an attack now.
But listen—your business doesn’t care about your feelings.
And if you want to lead, get paid, and make impact,
you need someone who can coach you up, not coddle you.
I told my coach:
