So What's Everyone Up To This Weekend?
Just curious. What have you got going on this weekend? I am in a 6 month challenge that never sleeps...so doing that! Also got Epilepsy Foundation coming to pick up donations on Dec. 15. I pulled out 16 tubs of holiday decorations and items to go through. I also have a ton of clothes that should be donated. So, I will be using some time on organizing and packing things up to give away. As far as I am concerned, anything we do that we love or that makes us feel good is a WIn on the weekend! Share what you are up to... Naps on the couch, self care, watching your favorite Christmas movie... Let's hear it. If you do not want to share your plans... How about YOUR FAVORITE CHRISTMAS MOVIE? Soooo... When I ask, "How can I help?"... I am not just saying it as a filler or sign off. I really mean it!!! So often we just need one little thing or another human being to bounce an idea off of... Am I crazy in thinking this? When I think of all the times I spent days, weeks, and sometimes months STUCK, procrastinating, making excuses, denying... And all I really needed was to ASK... Ask someone... Ask anyone... Ask YOURSELF!!! Been helping people with their businesses for 4 decades now (longer than many of the folks I work with have been alive). I have seen, heard, and learned so much. From Disco to Crypto (now AI) someone just reminded me!!! Watched people and businesses transform before my eyes...while many stayed stuck, languished and eventually died. Which is the actual fate of MOST businesses. (Just checked the most recent statistics...not really improved much!) A business owner should ask for help long before the business is in crisis—ideally when growth, clarity, or support is needed. Here are key moments when reaching out is smart, strategic, and proactive: ✅ 1. When they’re consistently overwhelmed If everything feels urgent, there’s no breathing room, and the owner is the bottleneck. ✅ 2. When revenue hits a plateau Stagnation usually signals a strategic, marketing, or operational issue that outside expertise can uncover. ✅ 3. When they’re doing tasks outside their strengths Admins, tech, accounting, legal, branding—delegation protects energy and accelerates growth. ✅ 4. When decision fatigue sets in Confusion, second-guessing, or spinning in circles means it’s time for coaching, mentorship, or peer input. ✅ 5. When growth opportunities appear—but feel too big or risky Scaling requires support, structure, and perspective. ✅ 6. When the business stops feeling fun, meaningful, or aligned Emotional and mindset strain is a valid signal—not a weakness. ✅ 7. When finances don’t make sense Cash-flow challenges, inconsistent income, unclear pricing, or rising expenses require professional guidance.
