Happy thankful Thursday, sisters! I am currently in Sweden with my family, and I have very little or no time to myself. I find that really draining since I am used to spending most of my time on my own. In addition to my mum’s early stages of dementia and my dad’s nerve damage in his back, I have a very strained relationship with my brother, and I find his resentments towards me very hard to deal with. So today I am very grateful for a reading a friend shared with me, which made me look at the situation from a different perspective, which I wanted to share with you. -------- “We could spend our whole lives waiting for someone to apologise or take responsibility for how they hurt us before we decide to let go. But the problem with that scenario is we’ve made someone else in charge of how and when we heal. If we truly want to break a cycle and heal, we have to forget what the other person is or isn’t doing, and focus entirely on our own process. When you forgive, you heal. When you let go, you grow. “ --------- Does it resonate with you as it did with me? Have a blessed day ☀️💛🙏🏼
