📣 See You Tonight!
Hi AMC crew! ⭐ Just a quick reminder that your first Artist Momentum Collective live session is happening tonight at 6:30pm (Brisbane time). If you can, I'd recommend jumping on 5–10 minutes early just to make sure your audio and camera are working properly before we get started. I've sent everyone a reminder email this afternoon... and, in true Lyne fashion, realised I'd forgotten to include the Zoom link! 🤦‍♀️😂 So keep an eye out for one final email shortly. I'll also pop the Zoom details into the classroom so they're easy to find. I'm really looking forward to meeting you all and getting this journey underway. It's going to be a fantastic six months. See you tonight! Lyne 😊

Greetings 😊
Hi everyone. I’m Kay a botanical artist based in Port Macquarie. 🌿
Hi Everyone 😊
I’m Clare, I have a home studio in Banyo, North Brisbane. I’m a fine art photographer currently transitioning from a portrait photography business, of over ten years, into creating original photographic artworks, inspired by flowers and botanical elements. I love exploring themes of movement, emotion, and the quiet beauty found in nature, and I’m exploring incorporating hand embroidery and paint into my pieces. I’m at an exciting stage of building my art practice and learning how to share my work with collectors in a meaningful way. I’m particularly interested in developing the storytelling behind my art, growing a sustainable creative business, and connecting with people who resonate with what I create. I’m really looking forward to learning from everyone in this group, sharing the journey, and cheering each other on. It’s lovely to be here! 😊❤️

Hi everyone - I’m Susan 👋
I am a South African-born ceramic artist living in Brisbane. I immigrated as a teenager with my family (a long time ago!) and finished growing up in Airlie Beach. I studied graphic design when I finished school and spent three decades working in the field before discovering ceramics in 2020. I found an affinity for clay and a love for the ceramic process and now I work from my home studio in Camp Hill where I create hand-built sculptural ceramic forms that draw on my love of the natural world and reflect my commitment to craftsmanship and the transformative power of art. I am excited to be here and am looking forward to learning new things, getting to know you all and planning, making and preparing for a solo show in the Emergent Gallery in May next year. Below are a few images of the sort of work I make. Predominantly two areas - sculptural vessels and garden totems.
