Too many styles, too early
One of the most common early mistakes I see in apparel brands has nothing to do with design or marketing. It’s launching with too many styles. Not because founders are ambitious — but because they’re unsure. More SKUs feel safer. In reality, they destroy cash, focus and feedback loops. Honest question: If you were launching today, would you start with 3–5 styles or 10–20? And why?
