💜 Self-Care Sunday: USE THE GOOD SUPPLIES! 🎨✨
Creative Besties, I have a question… What art supply are you saving for “something special”? 👀😂 You know the one. That gorgeous paper you don’t want to cut. The stickers that are too pretty to use. The fancy paint you’ve been saving. The beautiful journal you’re scared to mess up. That little something sitting in your stash waiting for the perfect project. Well, Creative Bestie… YOU are the special occasion. 💜 So for today’s Self-Care Sunday Creative Invitation, I want you to go into your creative stash and choose ONE GOOD THING you’ve been saving. And then… USE IT. 😂 Cut the paper. Peel the sticker. Open the paint. Make the first mark in the journal. You don’t even have to make a finished piece today. Spend 10 or 15 minutes enjoying the thing you bought because it brought you joy in the first place. Because sometimes self-care isn’t adding something else to your to-do list. Sometimes it’s simply allowing yourself to enjoy what you’ve been saving. 💜 Creative Besties… we’re just getting started.
I’ve been sitting here thinking about how much our little creative corner has grown lately, and I just wanted to pop in and say WELCOME to everyone who has recently joined us. 🎨💜 Some of you found your way here through the Art of Handmade Summit, some of you have been hanging out with me for a while, and some of you may still be quietly looking around trying to figure out what you’ve gotten yourself into. 😂 Wherever you are in your creative journey, you belong here. And I want you to know—we have so much more coming. More opportunities to create together. More art journaling. More creative play. More ways to get past the perfectionism and overthinking. More conversations about creativity, confidence, and making creativity part of your actual LIFE. But more than anything, I want this community to be something we build together. So if there’s something you’d love to learn, a technique you’ve been curious about, an idea for something we could do together, or even something you’d simply like to see more of around here… Tell me!
