New here. Have a couple squares to share. The red truck is an 83 K20 buckets with console, 350, full exhaust (headers/3"/turbo mufflers) 4 speed, 44 front with a 14 bolt rear, 4" lift, BFG mud terrains, etc etc. This one I'd like to turn into an overland/daily/trail fun rig. Will likely get the 350 from the black truck and a Holley kit. The black truck is a 78 C20. 350, comp cam, edlebrock knockoff, accel/Mallory (unsure 100%) dist, accel wires, hooker comp headers, 3" exhaust, Speedway Beyea mufflers, vortec heads, moroso pan, th400 deep pan/shift kit/some kind of offbrand torque converter, American Racing wheels, all terrains, black interior, still has a mint factory black bench, Pioneer radio with Pioneer speakers. Fun little street/daily. This truck I'm unsure what to power it with. Yes the red truck has the caps for the wheels just not in this picture.

Hello
86 c1500
Just got through getting this one back on the road for my boys first truck and give us something to work on together. I have an 85 k5 that is currently at my cousins shop a couple hours away working sheet Metal and floor pans when I get the time to get up there.

88 k5 Jimmy project!
Hey everyone, here is my project and story. I had an 88 k5 blazer when I was in my early 20s and loved it but living in Florida and having a baby the K5 wasn't great for a daily during the summer, so I sold it to get a 1999 Tahoe. It was nice for the family but wasn't no k5 lol. Fast forward 20 some years and I have a 1999 jeep tj I had built for a vehicle to travel to my camp and trail riding. The jeep was nice cause it's so small for trail rides but that's when I realized it was too small! I had to get me a k5 again!! I looked for a while but most prices on these things are silly. Finally found a project k5 that was completely torn apart down to the frame. I was looking for a running driving truck I could just do minor upgrades slowly because didn't really have the time for a frame off build but couldn't pass up the deal!! The previous owner had already installed a 14bolt full float in the rear and a dana 60 in front both rebuilt with 4.56 gears, a rebuilt 700r4 and np208. They sand blasted the frame and axles and primed everything. That is where it stopped for them. The frame sat outside and started surface rusting. He bolted the body on it to sell it. So thats where I started with it. I took it to my cousins shop an hour away and pulled the body off, stripped all the rust off the frame, welded up all the crossmembers that were just riveted on, boxed in most of the frame. Installed offroad design spring hangers up front and a shackle flip in rear. Painted the frame and axles. Before I dropped the body back on the frame I cleaned and painted under body. The K5 came with brand new 8" lift springs so those went on too with all grease able spring bolts. Mounted the body back on the frame and brought her home to my shop. Now I'm going thru and replacing the few rust areas that it has before I start putting it back together. Started with the worst spot which was the drivers rocker/ floor pan. Here's some pictures of it. Thanks for the add to the group. I look forward to learning a lot and also sharing my knowledge with you all.
