Collecting parts for spring
Found a really nice chevy dana 60... 4 hour drive to go get it in -14 degree weather an 145$ in fuel. Im excited

@Cody Murney yes for sure, they are calling for more this weekend too. wtf I live in FL for warm weather!! I guess not much work will get done on the Jimmy this weekend since I'm working on it outside the shop till I'm done grinding, cutting and sand blasting.

Front suspension questions
Any of you lifted guys running a track bar on the front end? I saw a company on you tube that swears by them to stop bump steer. Think it was davis' offroad. Pretty steep pricing on their crossover steering/ Trac bar set up. What's everyone else running?

@Justin Biddle thank you, I guess I'll be shopping for a track bar too before I put it all together. My rig will see fair amount of hwy miles also. Its about a 180 mile round trip to my camp in the swamps so I want it to drive good on hwy and off road!

New guy thanks for the invite to the group.
Hi names syerus new to the group thanks for the invite. Im currently living in az. Just pick this 78 k10 up a couple months ago. Excited to work on it and make it what I want. My first vehicle growing up in michigan was a 86 k10 my dad gave me. Look forward to seeing what everyone does with their rigs. 🤘

@Cody Villarreal thanks, its great to have places like this where we can learn from others, ask questions and share what we know! When I picked up my jimmy I was looking for one that wasn't a frame off build but couldn't pass up the deal and it will be what I wanted when I'm done. Right now I'm doing metal work to body. I can't wait to get her on the road already!!
