Your Thoughts Are Not Always Telling You the Truth
Ever noticed how one negative thought can snowball into ten?
“I’m not good enough.”“What if I fail?”“Nobody cares.”“I’ll never get where I want to be.”
The problem is that most people believe every thought that enters their head.
But here’s the reality:
You are not your thoughts. You are the observer of your thoughts.
One of the simplest ways to break the cycle is through your breath.
The next time your mind starts racing, try this:
✅ Breathe in through your nose for 4 seconds✅ Hold for 4 seconds✅ Breathe out slowly for 6-8 seconds✅ Repeat 5 times
As you do this, focus only on the breath.
What happens?
Your nervous system begins to calm down.Your heart rate slows.Your mind becomes quieter. The negative thoughts lose their power.
The goal isn’t to stop thoughts completely.
The goal is to stop letting them control you.
Remember:
A negative thought is just a visitor. You don’t have to invite it in for dinner.
Take 60 seconds today to breathe, reset, and regain control.
