Someone say Friyay?
It’s Friday. Enjoy yourself, have a laugh, see your mates, switch off from the week. But remember this: be kind to yourself tonight. Nothing good happens after 2am. That extra drink, that bad decision, that “one more place” idea… your future self rarely thanks you for it in the morning. You don’t have to ruin your weekend to prove you had one. Have fun. Stay in control. Look after your head. Get home safe. Your future self is counting on you. #SPEAK #MentalHealthAwareness #MensMentalHealth #BeKindToYourself #FridayReminder

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week.
For us at SPEAK, this is not about one week of nice posts and good intentions. It is a reminder of the work that needs to happen every week. The real conversations. The check-ins.The walks. The sessions. The moments where someone finally says, “I’m not actually okay.” This community exists because too many people are carrying things alone. So this week, use this space properly. Share how you are feeling.Check in on someone.Join a session.Ask for support.Offer support. You do not need to have the perfect words. You just need to show up. And if this week feels heavy, remember this: You are not weak for struggling. You are not a burden for speaking. You are not alone in this. This is what SPEAK is here for. Let’s make this week count.

Good morning team!
We’re into day two of Mental Health Awareness Week. But let’s be honest, awareness on its own is not enough. This community was created for something deeper than awareness. It was created to help us hold each other accountable for turning up for ourselves. Because our mental health does not improve by accident. It improves when we invest time, energy, effort and sometimes money into ourselves. It improves when we feed our mind with better thoughts, better habits, better conversations, better people and better choices. Read something positive. Move your body eat something that fuels you. Take five minutes to breathe. Speak honestly.Ask for help. Check in on someone, show up, even when you do not feel like it. Because once you start building yourself into a stronger, calmer, more positive version of you, that is when you become better equipped to support others. You cannot pour from an empty cup. So today, do one thing that helps fill yours. Turn up for yourself first. Then go and be a light for someone else.

Monday 🫣
The start of the week. Or maybe, the start of the rest of your life. Today, do one positive thing for yourself. Read a few pages of a book. Write down a few things you’re grateful for. Go for a walk in nature. Eat something that actually fuels you. Message someone you care about. Take five minutes to breathe. It doesn’t have to be massive. Just do something today that your future self will thank you for. Start small. Start honest. Start today.
