During this special week, South African citizens can enjoy 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 to most of South Africa's 21 national parks. It's the perfect opportunity to experience our country's incredible wildlife, breathtaking scenery, and natural heritage without paying an entrance fee. The exact dates may vary slightly from year to year, but the event usually takes place towards the end of September. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲? To enjoy free access, simply present one of the following: - 🇿🇦 A valid South African green bar-coded ID book, or - 🇿🇦 A South African Smart ID card. Children under the age of 16 are usually admitted free of charge and generally do not need to present an ID. Please note that the free entry applies only to day visitors. Accommodation, guided tours, and other commercial activities are not included. 🌿 𝐏.𝐒. 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲! 🌼 If you're in Langebaan, you're in for an extra treat!
