Tomorrow Isn’t Promised
In the week I had a conversation with a friend about time… and how important it is to truly separate work time from family time.
She shared something that really stayed with me.
When she was little, her mom promised to take her to the park. But life got busy… and it never happened.
Not because her mom didn’t love her — but because there was always “later.”
Her mom has since passed away, and that missed trip to the park is now a memory she carries with her forever.
Now, as a mom herself, she understands how easy it is to say, “We’ll go tomorrow.” But tomorrow isn’t promised.
Family time isn’t just time.
It’s memories.
It’s connection.
It’s the moments our children will remember long after we’re gone.
Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day ❤️
Let’s not wait until it’s too late to tell our loved ones how much they mean to us.
Put the phone down.
Close the laptop.
Go to the park.
Say the words.
Give the hug.
Work will always be there. The people we love won’t.
Let’s choose presence. Let’s choose love. 🇿🇦💛
