I must admit that, bar Marvel films, I have barely watched any of the films you would expect a half respectable human to have seen... I started watching Fight Club for the first time last night, and seeing @Lidia Axe 's love for movie, I had to make this admission 🤣 So, What's the ONE film that is unmissable so I can start catching up?!

it's movie Saturday. today, let's talk about New Amsterdam. it's an amazing series. highly recommend (first 2 seasons, for sure). you can find it on Netflix. 7.9/10 rating on IMDB. the tag line: "a new medical director breaks the rules to heal the system at America's oldest public hospital." why i like it? - i love medical movies. i might have been a doctor in previous lives. ... seriously, i think i envy the rush, the purpose, and the lack of ambiguity. - i am a rebel just like Max. i fight the system is the system is broken aka Growth Boost 😎 - i learn how to lead from Max. i learn how to stay positive. and i learn how to be persistent, despite all the difficulties. when you watch, ask yourself these questions to turn this into coaching session: - what bugs me in this world and what am i doing about it? - what i silently agree with that i should not? and what can i do about it? what do you think? did you watch? ps the next Community Clinic 2.0 is New Amsterdam themed. have you put it on your calendar yet?

i know i missed Saturday movie club. well.. my Monday is so shit, that i thought it's a good time to share one of my favorite series - Dr. House. well, there is actually an extra reason to share Dr. House cause September event - Community Clinic 2.0 - is going to be Dr. House themed. stay tuned. building it as we speak. so, the real reasons why i like Dr. House that much are: - he is really good at what he does - and i like it. i want to be really good at what i do. - he is solving mysteries in medicine. i want to solve mysteries in business. - he is not perfect, very far from it. and so am i. he is terrible. he is. he is an addict. right? and yet, i admire him. and i am captivated by the ways he solves problems. well, did you watch it? did you like it? is he your hero or you despise him?

missed it yesterday. but even more reasons to share this one today. cause we - me & my hubby - are celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary today & (the drum roll) the theme of the wedding was Oscar nominations. and our first dance was a tango from Scent of a Woman movie. we even took 3-4 dancing lessons to perform that, properly. now, the movie. i mean, yes, it is an old one. 1992. but, Al Pacino, getting Oscar, for his role - you can't argue that?! why i like it? apart from it was my wedding dance... - life brings us people, weird ppl - even if for a weekend - who we can learn from - life gives us cross-roads and it's up to us to make the decision, it might change the trajectory - so, don't dismiss those - be yourself, be passionate, love what you have and act on it if you decide to watch, ask yourself these questions to turn this into “therapy/coaching session”: - are you too focused on problems/disadvantages you have vs your strengths? - what opportunities are you dismissing right now? - are you making everything out of what you have? - is there a mentor you are dismissing? - anything else comes to your mind while you watch this movie? give us some love & tell me if you are going to watch this ⬇️
