Welcome to Saints and Strength!
Glad you’re here. This group is for LDS dads who want to build strength, drop fat, and get their energy back while keeping faith and family first. To kick things off, drop a quick intro in the Feed. - Where you’re from - Why you joined the group - What your main health or fitness goal is right now This will help us all connect and hold each other accountable as we move forward. Excited to see everyone’s goals and to build this community together.
Happy to be here
Hey guys, Sean Stevenson here from North Idaho. I’m an engineer, which means I sit way too much and overthink pretty much everything. Joined the group to get better at dropping some fat and actually having energy left after work and family stuff. Goal is to get stronger without my kids still thinking they can beat me in a footrace. Glad to be here.
Getting back in shape
I’m Brian Davenport, from Santaquin, Utah, educator by profession and a part time grocery store front end supervisor. 2 days a week after teaching school all day I go to the grocery store for another 8 hrs. Friday night I serve in the Payson, Utah Temple, then do my garden yard work and work at the grocery store on Saturdays. I am here for accountability, and support to help me reach my goals. My goals are to lose about a 100 pounds and get back into better health. After having major surgery for my ankle and knee, and gaining about 150 pounds. I want to get back in shape, I don’t want to have health issues that won’t allow me to be my active self like I was before the surgeries.
Improvement
Howdy fellers, Ryan McNabb from Las Vegas. I’m a 20+ year cop nearing 50 years old with one of four kids left at home and a supportive wife. I’ve packed on the pounds the past two + years from inconsistent exercise, poor diet, and eating before bed after swing shift. I am finally ready for a permanent lifestyle improvement. I believe Conner’s expertise and coaching will help me get there. I am going to drop 30 lbs and maintain the habits. I need to get fit to keep wearing this gun belt and better handle work and life challenges. Glad to be here.
