Its very approachable and step by step. The third lesson starts to give you clave, accents and 3's 2's against 4 in 4/4. There's about 46 lessons. I've included it in my studies but I may have to make sure I get to it by putting it first as my rhythm is weak :). As Sid has mentioned you can use what ever syllables you want for groupings as long as they're quick. I'm partial to "pur-ple-hipp-o-pot-a-mus" for sevens :).
