Im sure most of you have seen this but Jesus Christ at 17 years old, he truly had all his chops that he took with him the rest of his life and no one in the world was doing anything like this on guitar anywhere!

@Jimmy Hudson I’m hoping one day I want to download all of Shawn’s recordings and bootlegs and put em on DVD and CD just to keep them out there. I wouldn’t sell em I just wanna have some physical copies. Gotta find someone with a PC

@Jimmy Hudson Oh wow I’ll have to check that one out, I’ve been listening to some of that Shakti, Shankar and srinivas stuff Shawn mentioned he admired…. In school they taught me the Ta Ka Di Mi system in my music class and I think it’s real cool that Shawn just so happened to like that method. Indian classical theory in general I think makes learning music easier

How would Shawn get influence to write?
im trying to learn how to write songs, anytime I hear a Shawn demo i get inspired to write something that has interesting chords and melodies https://youtu.be/jkb0DPVu2to?si=G3ZiCcqQf4_CtDmd who would Shawn listen to and what inspired him to write this piece? I know he listened to all different genres of music and i’d like to know his process in writing.
