I want yall to welcome @Bill Oliver Bill knew Shawn when he was a kid and Bill was a Rhodes Scholar and he and his frat brothers knew Shawn was a young genius. Bill is the one that introduced Shawn to Holdsworths Music and in fact is the one that took Shawn to see him play and Bill said after that very night Shawn chaged everything about his playing within a few weeks. Bill was Shawns closest friend over the years and we have been friends for about 30 years and it is an honor to have him be a part of this community and he knows a lot about Shawn so the Q&A section, feel free to tag him! Recently I have been interested in piano, I cannot play the piano, So i program the notes into a programmer. I decided to try and recreate the piano intro to Esperanto. Here it is

I was telling Chris about him last night. He is blind and lives in Nashville and is a Savant like Shawn and is a master of many instruments actually. Here he is just tearing it up on an acoustic guitar with Tommy Emanuel! Insanity! Sid and I are both huge Rory Hoffman fans!

This is what Inspired Shawn to name his Album Powers of Ten. The Original Artwork was from this movie but Warner thought it was too Scientific so they made him use the Two hands. Powers of Ten Live however, he finally got to use photos from the book/ movie. He thought it was very fascinating how when you zoom way out into outer space you have some almost identical images as when we zoom way into the human hand.
