Just Checking on Everyone with all The Ice Storms
I just wanted to make sure everyone is ok? I haven't heard from Sid in a couple days and I know his area in Gainesville got hit really really hard. I haven't had heat in 2 weeks not. We have kerosene and space heaters, but I miss my big heater and Im waiting for parts.

Sorry to hear that guys. Be safe! Toronto got hammered but we only got a bit of snow. Lucky so far. @Jimmy Hudson 2 weeks is nuts without heat Jimmy. Not sure where yer at but thats a death sentence in Canada :(.

I like having the full neck visible next to your guitar pro window. Love the colours on the intervals as well. As for mistakes it really makes it more authentic. I'm sick of seeing perfect takes everywhere. It reinforces a perfection mindset in students and they think everyone can do it except them. They don't see the 1000s of takes to get that one perfect 5 min rip on youtube :). As an aside: I also hate that in improvs. If you are truly going for it you will have mistakes live. Mattias AI Eklundh has mentioned this often. He always jokes about some kid putting up a video after a gig with him playing live in-front of glass or something and it sounds like ass. But he loves it as its authentic and he also has nothing to prove. Thanks for everything Jimmy. This place is great.
New Coursework in The Classroom!
I will be adding to the New Practice Course as always and I got the video up and yall can now download the PDF so you can print it and definitely check out the Intervals Coursework! It is intense and awesome! Sid is really sick yall, if he is not better tomorrow he is going to Urgent Care and when he gets well he said he will be on here here much more! Welcome to all of out new members and to our new premium members, THANK YOU! WE CAN NOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOU! I was unable to go see David Flexer today but I want Shawns Fans and friends to see what he wrote as his stomach really bothering him and this is totally selfless of him as he wants one thing to happen with the VAULT of Material he has!!! But if for some reason this takes me out , which im strong and have no intentions on checking out, but if I get worse im going to have everything I own of Shawn in a box that my girlfriend who lives with me will know to give to you and my dying wish will to be upload it all so Shawn will always be available to everyone forever.... Yall, if you are not on the Premium Tier you are really missing out. This is going to be just as complete and BETTER than any actual Music School out there and will be very complete and we are adding daily material! $29 per month ends in February and this is an intro price that you will lock in forever as long as you are a member, or $300 per year! You cant even get a Guitar Lesson with some jackass in a store with no real world experience for $29! Trust me it's worth it yall!

@Jimmy Hudson I just ran through the practice schedule. For theory I subbed in some note on the neck practice in an old program from many years ago. Sight reading was new to me. Last time I read was in grade 8 I think :). Used "Bark at the Moon" as I figure it is as good as any to get reacquainted with the staff. Any further exercises/suggestions to swap in and out are welcome too. I used 20 mins on and 10 off roughly. This ought to keep me busy for while lol. Thanks Jimmy & Sid!!!! Cheers.

@Jimmy Hudson Thanks Jimmy this is awesome!
Basic to advanced Konokol on youtube
@Jimmy Hudson Not sure if this is the right place for this. Feel free to move it to keep order. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaq6h18rnEfXpwbOWwidMQPUvgds-7LSp Its very approachable and step by step. The third lesson starts to give you clave, accents and 3's 2's against 4 in 4/4. There's about 46 lessons. I've included it in my studies but I may have to make sure I get to it by putting it first as my rhythm is weak :). As Sid has mentioned you can use what ever syllables you want for groupings as long as they're quick. I'm partial to "pur-ple-hipp-o-pot-a-mus" for sevens :). Cheers guys and gals (when we get some).
