Test raising your upsell prices!
We just took one of our upsells from $47 to $197 and the conversion rate is almost the same!
All we did was:
A) Put a VSL on the page with a great story and proof of the product.
B) Made the price seem stupidly low compared to the alternative.
Goes to show that if you position things the right way good things come your way.
Will keep updating as we scale this thing...
