Lav Mic + Wispr Flow/Dictation Tool = Game Changer
For a while, I was having issues with dictation tools like Wispr Flow. And I kept trying all of these tools, and I always thought they were better and that I'd hit the same wall. What I realized is that it wasn't the tool; it was me and my setup. I used to dictate everything through a big, heavy, really high-quality desktop road mic that sat on my desk, and I thought the audio was good. But the problem is, unless I was speaking directly to the microphone, it wouldn't work well. So I actually had this Mark Hollyland wireless lab mic that I said, "Let's plug this into my computer and give it a spin and see how it works." The results have been incredible. In fact, every single thing dictated here was done with Wispr with zero editing. So if in doubt, highly, highly recommend getting a wireless lavalier mic.
