It's Wednesday. But it feels like Friday.
I'm getting ready for my first ever girls trip cruise! I have a full day tomorrow and then early the next day I'll fly out to LA, hop on a floating entertainment city and have no internet, phone service or cares in the world for the next three and a half days! I've never done a girls cruise before. I'm going with my sis-in-law, her other sis, her sis-in-law, her mom and my BFF from high school that I still love to hang out with (go class of 1990!) who has never cruised before. I'm (nearly) sleepless with anticipation 😁 As far as days of the week, it's not quite "my Friday" yet, but I'm so giddy with forward thinking that it feels like I can taste it. I'm on pre-vacation. Why does this matter? Because even though I'm in a swirl of emotions (woot woot)... it's still just Wednesday. We have 52 of these a year. Why is this one special awesome? Because of my PERCEPTION of it! Let that settle for a moment. What if we could just change around our perception whenever we want to and be happy and joyful and full of anticipation and excitement ANY DAY OF THE YEAR? Oh wait ~ Yes, optimism. Yes, gratitude. Of course all of that. But, what if we actually applied this idea TOWARD OURSELVES?? Hmmm A quote comes to mind; "“You are loved. Massively. Ferociously. Unconditionally. It would almost feel like an unfair shortcut! And what if all it took for you to align with this idea - that you are loved, all the way 100%, no matter what, right now, and that you are exactly where you are supposed to be on your growth path in this very moment - was for you to choose to agree with the idea... Wow. 🎤 Sadly, you have years and decades of "evidence" stored up in your perfect mind that is arguing the opposite, so it will take consistent effort and re-habitizing yourself to untrain default thoughts and supercede them with new ones.
