“Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead…” — Philippians 3:13–14 The word “straining” really speaks to me. Following Jesus isn’t passive. It calls for total dependence on God while embracing personal responsibility and accountability. “Total dependence on God never cancels personal responsibility and accountability—it empowers them.” It takes time, effort, discipline, perseverance, and an ALL IN heart. The only way to escape gradual spiritual, physical, or financial decline is to keep saying “yes” to God… One hour at a time. One choice at a time. One act of obedience at a time. Hour by hour, walking with our sweet Jesus. Lord, please help us to stay ALL IN. Thank You for giving us both the desire and the strength to obey You. With You, all things are possible. Amen. 🙏🏾❤️

Day 11: The “I’m Satisfied” Signal I Used to Miss
So a group of us in our Wellness & Financial Education community decided to spend 30 days practising what we teach—building healthier habits one day at a time. Today is Day 11 of my journey… 💚 🌿 Wellness Journey Journal – Day 11 One of today’s wellness lessons really made me stop and think. Today’s focus was mindful eating. 📵 No eating in front of the TV. 📱 No scrolling on my phone. ⏸️ Just slowing down, chewing well, and paying attention. 💡 My biggest takeaway? When we eat mindfully, we’re much more likely to notice our body’s “I’m satisfied” signal before we’ve eaten too much. I’ve realised that when I’m distracted, I often eat past that point… and then wonder why I feel so sleepy, sluggish and have no energy afterwards. 💥💥💥 That was a real aha! moment for me. My goal isn’t just to eat healthier—it’s to finish my meals feeling satisfied, energised and ready to enjoy the rest of my evening. 👍🏾👌🏾😇🙏🏾 After all… ✨ Food should fuel us, not tire us down. 🔥💥👍🏾 I’m documenting my wellness journey one healthy habit at a time, and I’d love for you to come along with me. 🌿 💬 Question: Do you usually eat with the TV on, scroll on your phone, read a book while eating… or do you prefer distraction-free meals?
