potentially spam number when cold calling

I had an appt that I booked when my phone number wasn't labeled as a spam likely,

but then this lady canceled an appt by saying: "not interested please take me off calling list",

even though we had a pretty good conversation 12 minutes long before booking an appt

so my question is - does it makes sense to book appts when your number labeled as a spam or should I verify my number,

then wait 3 days untill it unspams and then start calling the leads?

so that way I'm not just burning through the leads
