Thumbpulling technique debate
I get it that some people have issues with high-intensity thumbpulling with chin-tucks, but isn't that simply because, they should start with lower intensity and only after some time the body will adapt to higher intensity? The rationale is similar to reviv mouthguard. A person who's super recessed shouldn't immediately try to wear reviv XL for 12 hours a day, but should start with wearing a smaller mouthguard for less time. Personally, I've been doing high-intesity thumbpulling with chin-tucks once a day 4 sets for each third of the palatte for 4 months now and I've gotten massive results. Also, it takes me literally 5 minutes a day, so that's great stuff.
Thumbpulling retainer
I am 18 now. I had braces, but my teeth are still a little bit crooked. My maxilla is recessed and my bite doesn’t feel comfortable. I want to try thumb pulling to widen and bring my palate forward. I still have a fixed retainer behind my teeth from my orthodontist. Should I have it removed? Upper and lower?
posture while doing thumbpulling
Is the posture we use when doing thumbpulling actually important? I started doing thumbpulling for two hours a few days ago. I tried all the recommended positions, but I couldn't last very long. The best position I found to tire myself out less was lying down with a pillow under my head. Honestly, I don't think that position is good for my posture, but so far it's the only one I've been able to use to do thumbpulling for two minutes straight. (Example of the position I was in)

My results (update)
Hello and Happy New Year! I wanted to share my results with you. I started my thumb pulling practice on November 11, and during this time I’ve expanded my palate by around 2.5 mm. I trained for at least 2 hours a day, sometimes even a few dozen minutes longer, and also practiced mewing and hard mewing in my free time. I’m happy with the results and hope to improve them significantly in the coming year.
