Break the Loop: When Your Morning Doesn’t Go As Planned
Have you ever noticed how easy it is to feel off just because your morning routine didn’t go “perfectly”? Maybe your favorite podcast wasn’t up. Maybe you scrolled instead of journaling. Maybe your usual rhythm just... wasn’t there. Here’s the reframe I use (and it really helps): “I’m grateful. This interruption is helping me break the loop.” Sometimes the nervous system needs a small shock to move stuck energy. The moment things don’t go as planned? That’s often the exact moment something deeper can shift. If this happened to you recently, take a breath. Say yay for the loop breaking. And trust that movement is medicine. I’d love to hear: Have you felt this before? Do you notice certain disruptions actually help your healing?

Break the Loop: When Your Morning Doesn’t Go As Planned
The Messy Middle
There’s a space in life that doesn’t get talked about enough. It’s the in-between, when you’re no longer who you were, but not yet who you’re becoming. It can feel awkward. Lonely. Even messy. But it’s also the space where growth happens. Question for you: Have you ever felt “in-between” versions of yourself? What helped you keep moving forward instead of staying stuck?

Closing out this week with my second workout
This week wasn’t only about showing up at the gym. It was also about showing up for myself in a deeper way. I’ve been clearing out a lot of old energy, making space for what’s next. It’s not comfortable; but it feels necessary. 🌿 Question for today: Where in your own life are you noticing an ending, a release, or even a shift that’s making space for something new? Remember: you’re not moving through it by yourself. We’re walking these transitions together.

What if “midlife” didn’t start at 45… but at 36?
With life expectancy in the U.S. around 72–74, that means real midlife is closer to 36–38. That hit me hard when I thought about it. It made me realize: so many of us wait until “someday” — retirement, when the kids are grown, when life feels more stable — to finally start living, creating, and taking care of our health. But what if we’re waiting so long that we run out of time, energy, or freedom to enjoy it? I’ve seen how we’re trained into the script: school, career, family, house, debt, repeat. And somewhere along the way, creativity, fun, and joy get replaced with stress and survival. But what if we flipped that? What if today was the time to start living fully — to create joy, to color outside the lines, to care for our health and passions now, not later? Question for you:If today is your real life (not the rehearsal), what’s one thing you’d do differently starting this week?

Jedi strikes a pose 😹
This is Jedi reminding me that sometimes the best “exercise” is just showing up however you are. Flexible? Not really. Entertaining? Absolutely. Discussion prompt: What’s the funniest or most “human-like” thing your pet has done recently? Share a story or photo. I need the laughs today!
