I've learned more in these two sessions than I have in over a year of financial coaching through another program. It feels SO empowering to understand these reports and how we can take the financial reins of the business.
Honest take here: I've been doing a really deep dive into our finances for a while now - learning to understand cash flow vs P&L (a BIG aha moment I had during the last session), reducing operating expenses, tracking materials, gross margin for different job categories, etc. I'm spending the majority of my time on finances as I learn to understand and direct it all.
are there any accountability metrics I should shoot for to make this a less daunting task (i.e. update cash flow reports on a weekly basis, review all transactions on a weekly basis, etc.)? Thank you!!
