Discipline > motivation. Motivation is inconsistent. Discipline creates results. The businesses that win… aren’t the most inspired. They’re the most consistent. Where are you relying on motivation instead of systems?

Most owners look at revenue. Few look at margins. Revenue ≠ profit. If your revenue doubled… would your profit? If not, you don’t have a growth plan. You have a volume problem. Do you know your margins?

After getting my bloodwork back, we are changing from the carnivore diet and going more of a Mediterranean style. I'm going to re-test my bloodwork in 6 months to see where I stand. So far I'm down 25 lbs from diet alone with a few cheat meals here and there. I had a ton of energy on the Carnivore diet but with the Mediterranean, I don't feel as energetic and I feel hungry more often. That should change when we dial in the portion sizes. I still have more energy than I had before starting the diet. Every step forward is progress!

What to do: • Build a 13-week cash flow model • Audit your job costing (this is where profit leaks) • Adjust pricing with data, not guesswork • Eliminate waste that isn’t producing ROI What to be cautious of: * Overextending on new expenses * Assuming stable consumer demand * High fixed-cost expansion If you don’t tighten this now, rising costs will quietly eat your profit.

You can’t scale chaos. If your systems are inconsistent… your results will be too. Before you grow: Document your process. What in your business only works because you are involved?
