Opportunities in Offline, Local, Small businesses
, Do you feel like there is opportunity in the small, local business (especially service businesses)?
There are local businesses that have:
- Training programs for improving the use of other peoples’ software and apps
- Marketing systems and processes
- Business systems and processes
- Sales processes
- Information technology systems and processes
- Accounting systems and processes
that could be licensed to like-service businesses outside their local, competitive area.
If you feel like it is something that can be focused on, what do you see as the pros and cons?
I would be concerned about the lead time to implement but once you have one under your belt that is successful it can easily be rolled out to other cities.
Another concern may involve building the documentation of their licensable process.
I just see a very non-crowded opportunity but I am also inexperienced.
