The spot price of gold today is $2848, according to Apmex.
If you could get all the gravel you wanted and only had to pay for it ONCE at $20 an oz.
And you had a process for turning that SAME ounce of gravel into 5 ounces of gold for $1,400 an ounce ALL IN - including management and labor. (AKA an operator.)
Then...
You could sell it for WHATEVER YOU WANT (but knowing it would be hard to sell over the spot)...let's say you sold for $100 under spot so you could unload it as fast as you could get it...
👉The ONLY RULE WAS...
👉YOU could not TOUCH any part of the process after the acquisition of the gravel...
Would you just say...
"Fuck it! If I can't do the work myself...I pass! Because I dunno how to find or put in an operator and I am not comfortable giving an operator 50%! I'll just go back to the mines shoveling dirt for the owners for $50 an hour?"
