Do you engage with big groups?
[ROAST MY LESSON]
Speaking of organic traffic, being active on big groups is a great way to grow here and I'm talking groups with thousands of people.
Here are some of my opinions on how to engage on each of them.
👉 For those who own a community:
  • Skoolers: it's the best one to engage if you're a marketing/business/community building expert. Just go on the new comments filter and start helping people who are asking for help. You can get busy most of the day with it and there is no better way for me to organically get high quality members than doing that. People are grateful because I solve their problems, check me out and come with an initial trust on me that makes them more likely to become a paid member.
  • Classifieds: this is the best self promotion place on skool, and what inspired me mostly to build this group. and gave me valuable feedback there when I was just figuring things out and it got me my very first engaged members and also showed me to some key people who helped me a lot. I wrote a whole article on how you can use it here.
  • Skool First 100: has been actively helping me get more members by giving me the opportunity to talk on her events and also speaking highly of my group, and that's why she is the current referral contest winner. She is an experienced online business expert and I'm learning a lot with her and even paid to get some guidance on paid traffic.
  • Synthetizer is among the best big groups to network with new people. It's very highly engaged, with very high quality members. I got a comment pinned there yesterday that got me to start a conversation with several skoolers. And the posts that I make there actually get a lot of attention. Their classroom content is really good too.
👉 Big communities that are not restricted to skoolers
⚠️ BTW if you want to earn some skool affiliate comissions, being active on such groups, networking with people that are still thinking about opening their own groups is the way to go!
  • The Content Revenue Lab and YouTube For Skool: is the man for helping you get people from social media and YouTube. I recommend him to several people and they are always grateful for it. My high ticket client is getting his weekly mentorship on YouTube and Instagram and learning a lot from it.
  • Pinterest Skool: If you do pinterest this group is a cheat code for getting some traffic from outside of Skool. The pinterest games are a click for click engagement scheme, and althought you might not like it, on pinterest it actually work since the algorithm still promotes posts that get lots of clicks. And the owner gives ocasional self promotion opportunities that will get you a lot of eyes if you join early enough.
  • AI Automation Society: I think this is the biggest group on Skool, even bigger than skoolers. I met people who sell AI services and even dropped their own groups because they made all of their leads from there. It's full of bots though, so I disable DMs and notifications from there and just make the ocasional post to get some engagement on my AI projects and ideas.
