What is your consuming/creating ratio?
[ROAST MY LESSON] Information is everywhere. If there is one thing I learned since joining Skool is that information is useless if you don't apply it. Watching a video, reading an article, taking a course that teaches me something I won't apply does more damage than good. It spreads my focus, waste energy and make me anxious because I'm just putting one more thing on the list of missed opportunities. Now if instead of that I create something new and share it, like I'm doing right now. I'm creating an asset. This text was an inspiration I got from talking to @Mattias From . And it will be an asset for this community and future video content. Not just a reflection that will be thown in the wind. How often do you do that? Are you overconsuming and not applying things? Or did Skool already change the way you use the internet?

@Coleen Huebert The way I see it if you simply take notes or interact with the thing that you consume, that's already much healthier. And that's why I love skool. I see a post, I engage and take the learning to another level. I shift the content to a direction that applies to my own life.

@Rb Rathore that is awesome. I could see that as a Pinterest post. If you give me a permission I'll publish that and link it to you
Roast my skool about page
I am an investor so have ice in my veins ๐Ÿ˜‚, so please be more honest than you ever been on any roast before. I know I know nothing about this already so there is nothing to be afraid of. Thank you!!! ๐Ÿ™ Skool.com/invest

Hey @Mattias From, I forgot to talk about proof in my roast, so it's a good thing @Coleen Huebert pointed that out. It's always good to have proof of the quality of your work to demonstrate your authority in the subject. Recorded testimonials of satisfied clients are the best ones, but prints of posts work too. And if you're just starting out, talking about your specific results can work well too. In your case, if you have any certifications that qualify you as an investing expert, that could be one of the slides also.

@Mattias From yeah a testionial from those friends would be the best thing! And I understand the community not being about you part. It's the same with this one, that's the best way to manage a community actually, not being the spotlight of it. But you're still the leader of it. And demonstrating that authority will go a long way. People will expect someone knowledgeble on the subject and with real results to guide the conversations.
๐Ÿ† BBQ competition! And a new bonus for roasting pinned posts!
Do you consider yourself a Master Roaster? You get to win once every month and enjoy the podium for a whole week! Just a reminder that the Roaster of the Week gets a lot of spoils for free. - You get a pinned post ad at the top for 7 days. That's very powerful! I make the post, so everyone is notified about you. And for 7 days your offer will be the first thing people look when they come here. - The post is fixed at the community in the Trophy Case of the Roasty High Skool. So people can find you at any time. @Ruben Plasmeijer was the first champion and he still get members in his community even at times when he is not active. - The mere process of competing is already a win. Because people will see how helpful you are, so when you win they will remind you. If the champions are this helpful here, imagine how helpful they are in their own community! I just joined @Dave Hughes 's community, the current champion, and I'm impressed by the quality of his testimonials. - I make a Pinterest post for the champion of each week. So you are promoted inside and outside Skool. And that will include YouTube posts too. All with your previous authorizatiobn first. On top of that, since the community is public your ad posts might be found on Google also. ๐Ÿ… AND THE NEW BONUS:๐Ÿ… You earn DOUBLE POINTS for roasting roast requests that are currently PINNED! So pinned posts can get you up to 20 points! I grade each post that you roasted individually on: - Quality: How well you wrote the roast, how well you interacted with the roasted and how helpful and respectful you were in general on the thread (0 to 4 points) - Attention to detail: How much time you dedicated to actually go through the persons's stuff and review it, how detailed and technical was your review and the work you gave in the details. (0 to 3 points) - Creativity / Originality: If you give unique responses for each person. Spamming the same answers, not adding much new to answers that other people already made, or always giving similar answers will get you penalized here. (0 to 3 points)

@Dr. Severine Bryan it's very handy. I'll make a video recording the process with their Loom like feature.
Roast my Skool About Page please. ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Iโ€™m building The Prosperity Ascent Lab for people who want personal development, online business, AI marketing, content, UGC, community, and a business path with support already built in. My goal is to make the free community feel valuable enough to join right away, then guide the right people toward Coffee Hour, Aperitif Hour, Premium, VIP, or deeper business conversations. Iโ€™d love feedback on: Is the offer clear?Would you join? What feels confusing? What would make this more compelling? https://www.skool.com/the-prosperity-ascent-lab-7188/about

You have great camera presence and the video show your charisma and personality. It's not as stiff as many VSLs here. Abot your copy, I see that you describe the problem you solve. But when you talk about who you are, I though you were quite vague. You say you changed the trajectory of life, but you don't explain how. Did you start making 6 figures? Did you conquer early retirement? What was your achievement exactly? Your profile also has a better hook than your about page in my opinion. "Helping leaders build $15Kโ€“$200K/month personal-development businesses with systems, support + a backend already built :๐Ÿš€ UGC Content and AI Use". Where is that in the about page? That seems much more exciting and energetic than anything you wrote in the copy. People like numbers and results, and AI is trendy now so people will click just for that. Tagging @Lau Brizuela @Heather Boers @Katie Roth @Dave Hughes that o know can give great roasts. You shoud also check @Kim M. Parents Optimize&Monetize community. It's paid upfront and he is doing quite well on a similar niche. @Dr. Severine Bryan is also an expert on finances and podcaster who might be a great connection and colaborator for you! Also feel free to submit roasts on short videos and your whole youtube channel. @Des Dreckett is a YouTube expert here and I highly recommend his communities.
Roast my about page!
Iโ€™m prepping to bring in people and really start building my community. People are looking at the about page and not joining so please give me all your advice about the video and the content! The Mold Illness Academy

Such an interesting niche community idea. You make the problem very clear from the beggining, you explain the value inside, you have testimonials, you demonstrate your authority on video. My biggest question is about the way you're promoting this and your pricing model. First because your community is freemium, but the only free part is "Connect with like-minded people struggling with mold illness and share wins". That might be a weak motivation for joining, but I'm not working for your clients so that's more of a basic assumption. Also niche communities like these, that are not on niches that can at least indirectly help people make more money or are in a "mindseft, sellf mastery" niche, can be hard to grow organically. So how do you intend to get people inside your space? Do you have any presence outside of Skool. I don't see any links in your profile. YouTube / Instagram / TikTok could work great for you. I believe @Laura Williams, MBA, Ed.S will give you a great roast as this might be relevant for her. You could check @Des Dreckett, @Mona Weathers and @Kim M. for advices on how to monetize. I highly recommend their communities. @Dave Hughes and @Eliot Payne can help you improve your about page copy to convert more people.
